MINE HAZARD AWARENESS CAMPAIGN: STAY OUT-STAY ALIVE

April Marks, Marcie Dailey, Heather Gibson, and Jaime Faith of District 10 gave oral presentations on mine safety at each school. Children learned about the dangers of both active and abandoned mines. They were shown pictures of mine operations and equipment. Posters, stickers, and bookmarks were handed out at all of the selected schools. MSHA commends their continuing efforts to the safety and welfare of children.
