Top Federal Mine Safety Official to Visit Georgia Quarry
COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - Dave D. Lauriski, assistant secretary of labor for mine safety and health, will visit the 5 R Constructors, LLC, Quarry on Friday, March 19, in College Park, Ga. The quarry operation won a prestigious Sentinels of Safety award last year for logging 146,829 work hours without an injury or fatality. It is now involved in building a new runway at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
