TIM MUSBACH
Tim began his mining career in 1973 at the Stauffer Chemical Company's Big Island Mine in Southwest Wyoming. He immediately embarked upon a mine rescue career that continues to this day. Tim has been an active member in the Southwest Mutual Aid Association since 1990 and has served as a past Vice President and is the current President of the Wyoming State Mining Council. He trained and participated as a fresh-air-base attendant, map-man, gasman and team trainer. He has participated not only in regional and national competitions but also in actual mine disasters. Tim is currently the mine production superintendent and the Mine Rescue Coordinator for what is now OCI Wyoming's Big Island Mine. TIM MUSBACH
