Hall of Fame Eligibility
Nominations will be submitted to the National Metal and Nonmetal Mine Rescue Advisory Committee. The minimum requirement for consideration is a total of 40 points from at least three of the following categories:

 Significant Contribution to the establishment of MNM National Mine Rescue Contest

    First contest in 1973 ................. 10 Points

 Active participation with Mine Rescue Teams

    3 years .......... 1 point
    6 years .......... 2 points
    9 years .......... 3 points
    12 years ........ 4 points
    15 years ........ 5 points
    16 +       ........ 5 points

 Major Influence on Mine Rescue
    -Entrant in regional mine rescue or bench contests ...... 1 point
    -Entrant in national mine rescue or bench contests ...... 1 point
