After the bill is out of Committee, it is sent to the House or the Senate for a vote, whichever introduced it.
In the example mentioned above, the bill went from the Committee on Education and Labor to the full House.
A vote was taken and a majority of the House was in favor of the bill. From there it was on to the Senate . . .
