| If the Senate made only some minor or technical changes to the bill it received from the House of Representatives, it will then send the bill directly back to the House for another vote. If the Senate decided to make major or controversial changes to the bill, it may then be sent to a conference committee made up of members from both the House and the Senate. The members of the conference committee will discuss and make further changes or amendments to the bill. |
