MSHA held a Stay Out-Stay Alive program at the Chipeta Elementary School in Grand Junction, Colorado. MSHA Mine Inspector Brad Allen spoke with 2nd grade students about the many dangers at mine properties and demonstrated several tools that MSHA inspectors use to protect our nation's miners.
