Kenneth Darby, Electrical Engineer with MSHA’s Approval & Certification Center, delivered the Stay Out-Stay Alive message to more than 900 K-8 graders at eight schools in eastern Ohio. During his presentation he discussed the dangers you can encounter while playing at or exploring mines and a lucky student from each class was selected to wear safety gear used to keep miners safe on the job.
