The following photos are from a "Stay Out - Stay Alive" presentation held in Grand Junction, Colorado in May. MSHA Mine Inspector Brad Allen spoke with over 45 children and teachers at Chipeta Elementary School about the many dangers one may encounter at active and abandoned mine properties. He additionally showed the students the tools and protective equipment that are used to protect miners around the country.
