MSHA's District 1 office challenged students in northeastern Pennsylvania schools to a poster contest again this year. Students were asked to create poster-sized images depicting the many dangers one may encounter on mine properties. All submissions were judged by MSHA employees and the District 1 SOSA Coordinator, Patrick Boylan (center), who presented the winners with a trophy and certificate of achievement.
