A 45 year-old man from Mexico fell 35 feet into an abandoned mine shaft in southeastern Arizona. The man, unable to move because of his injuries including a possible broken hip, was rescued by Border Patrol search and rescue and Cochise County Sheriff's Department who rappelled into the mine shaft. The victim, who doesn�t appear to have sustained life threatening injuries, was taken to a Tuscon hospital for treatment. |
