Man Falls Down Quarry Cliff

A member of the United States Air Force broke both ankles after falling down a cliff Saturday.

The victim, 24, fell down a cliff at the Glen Helen Nature Preserve in Yellow Springs while hiking with his wife and a friend.

Rescue officials said the victim was trying to climb down the quarry's face when he lost his footing and fell nearly 20 feet into a muddy swamp.

He was rushed to the hospital with two broken ankles.
