November 27, 2010 Teen Rides Motorcycle Into Abandoned Mine Shaft A 14 year-old California boy was rescued after riding his motorcycle into an abandoned mine shaft. Kern County and San Bernardino County Fire Departments teamed together for the rescue, and a helicopter brought a mine rescue team to the scene. The teen was not seriously hurt. |
