04/11/2005 11 Year-Old Boy Falls Into Mine Shaft A man driving with his wife and daughter on a dirt road nearly backed into an abandoned mine shaft. While attempting to turn the car around, he nearly backed into a 12 foot-wide, 53 foot-deep mine shaft, coming to a stop with the vehicle's rear tire hanging over the shaft edge. |
