Hi, I�m Thomas Jones, running back for the Kansas City Chiefs.
You know nothing scares me when I step on the football field, but abandoned mines do.
Too many young people lose their lives every year in abandoned mine accidents.
Old underground mines can collapse or cave in at the slightest disturbance, and many contain deadly gases and unused explosives. These mines can have shafts deeper than the length of a football field.
Abandoned mines are death traps, so please Stay Out and Stay Alive!
