A 36 year-old Massachusetts man died from the traumatic injuries he suffered after his truck crashed into a limestone quarry

The truck's location in the quarry and the extent of the damage to it proved problematic to recovery efforts. Police Chief Donald Poirot said it was a difficult crash to access, and initially police were unsure if there was more than one victim in the pickup truck. Once they accessed the truck, they found no other person was involved in the crash. It took nearly 12 hours to remove the body.
