85 Year Old Man Drowns in Quarry

An 85 year old Ohio man drowned in a quarry near his home in Eagle Township. Authorities were called to the quarry around 5:45 p.m. on a report of a possible drowning. Divers searched the water with no success Thursday night. The victim, who owns the private quarry, was located recovered around 11:00 a.m. Friday by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Underwater Search and Recovery Team.
