June 19, 2010 Man Dies in Mining Cave The walls of an Oregon mining cave collapsed and killed a 42-year-old man digging 20 feet inside the entrance. The man was with three others who spent several minutes removing him from the rock and dirt. The victim was taken to a nearby medical center where he passed away. Source: Baker City Herald |
