07/04/2002 Divers found the body of a 40-year-old man who disappeared while swimming in a gravel pit in Livingston Co., Mich. Divers were dispatched to a possible drowning at the gravel pit late at night and searched the water for three hours, then resumed the search at daylight. The victim, whose body was located in about 29 feet of water, reportedly became tired after swimming halfway across the gravel pit. He then went under the water and did not resurface.
