A walk to a quarry turned deadly when a 13-year-old Lebanon, Pa., boy drowned about 100 yards east of the Lebanon Valley Mall, officials said. The boy's body was pulled from the water about two hours after the North Cornwall Township Police Department was notified of his disappearance. Steep cliffs and vegetation surrounding the quarry forced rescue divers to lower their boat by rope. They also had to climb down the cliffs to get to the water, which was at least 30 feet deep.
