07-06-2004 A 45-year-old man from Jackson, Ohio, drowned while swimming in a former stone quarry. It took sheriff's deputies and the Waverly Fire Department's dive team more than a day to locate the man's body. The lake, located in Beaver, is known to area residents as Blackies Lake.
