OSHA information is included in the Fall Protection Awareness Safety Target package as supplemental miner training information. Contents are not MSHA standards or regulation and do not create new legal obligations. The information is intended to be advisory in nature, informational in content, and is intended to assist mine operators in identifying hazards associated with fall prevention and fall protection. Mining industry trainers may elect to use the information to promote fall protection safety awareness in the mining industry.
