Week of February 14, 1999

Water is being pumped into the Water Infusion Borehole in order to inundate the suspected fire area. At 9:00 AM on February 20th approximately 21 million gallons of water had been pumped into the mine.

Drilling of Monitoring Borehole #3 was completed on February 14th. Sampling began on February 16th. The drill-rig was moved down the mountain to a new drill site along the road to the water infusion borehole. This borehole was to evaluate the atmosphere in the Oliver Mine that is over the Sanborn Creek Mine.
