Willow Creek Mine Explosion and Fire
Updates Update for Wednesday, August 9, 2000 Mine gas sampling and analysis continues. Readings at all sampling locations have stabilized and are no longer in the explosive range. Water pumping into the longwall gob area also continues uninterrupted. MSHA's investigation into the explosion and fire is still underway. |
