Willow Creek Mine Explosion and Fire
Updates Update for Monday, August 14, 2000 The situation at the mine remains essentially unchanged. Mine gas samples continue to be collected and analyzed. Results indicate that carbon monoxide levels continue to gradually decline. MSHA's accident investigation is in its 8th day and continuing. In the future, information will be posted on this site when significant changes or developments occur. |
