A successful IJTA workshop hinges on the Facilitator’s successful use of interpersonal and facilitating skills. Their role is to facilitate the workshop, but not provide technical input toward the job step list.

Recorder:
The recorder has three main duties.

1) To make modifications on the worksheet as the SME’s provide incite.
2) To determine the pace of the proceedings.
3) To keep the process moving by putting what is determined “middle ground” on the screen.
