North Huntington Police in Westmoreland County had to make a bizarre rescue following a domestic dispute late last night.

North Huntington Police say they responded to a call at a home on Claypike Road around 11pm on Friday, but once they arrived the man inside took off.

As the chase ensued, he fell down a mine shaft, and police had to pull the him out.

There is no word on whether he suffered any injuries or if he is being charged.
