A 50-year-old man from Melcroft, Penn., died April 10 in an all-terrain-vehicle accident in Somerset County. The accident took place about 10:45 a.m. in a mine area south of Garrett Shortcut Road in Brothersvalley Township. Police said the victim apparently was trying to back the ATV down a hill when it overturned, crushing him. Police said he was wearing a helmet. (Source: PittsburgLIVE.com)
