A Miles City, Mont., man died after he was struck by a motor boat while swimming in Spotted Eagle Lake, a city-owned quarry west of town. The boat driver struck the 41-year-old swimmer, severing one of his arms. The man was pronounced dead later at a Miles City hospital.
