    This shows another danger we have with these large haul trucks. Notice that before the bumper ever touches the tires of the vehicle in front, its truck bed is all the way into the cab of the truck in back. Many times it’s the truck in the front that backs into the one behind, instead of the truck in the back running into the one in front. On many newer trucks the operator’s cabs are over 25 feet above the ground, so it would be difficult to escape injury.
