2019 Mine Rescue, First Aid, Bench and Preshift Rules Training
The 2019 Coal Mine Rescue, First Aid, Bench and Preshift Rules Training will be held April 2 – 3, 2019 at the National Mine Health and Safety Academy, Beaver, West Virginia. Team representatives, state agencies and MSHA are being given an opportunity to receive interpretations directly from the Chief Judges and Assistant Chief Judges.
MSHA will also audio conference the Rules Training to a number of outlying locations.

Any requests for lodging or meal waivers should be made as soon as possible via email to Dr. Michael Faughnan, Faughnan.Michael.J@dol.gov with a courtesy copy to Kim Spencer, spencer.kimberly@dol.gov and Natasha Cordle, cordle.natasha@dol.gov. Attached is a listing of hotels in the area surrounding the Academy.
The 2019 Coal Mine Rescue, First Aid, Bench and Preshift Competition Rules will be posted on MSHA’s Mine Rescue home page (www.MSHA.gov) as soon as possible, and will remain there until after the 2019 Competition Season.
Attendees should bring a copy of the Rules to the training. No copies are being made for handout.
