The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)

The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is the basic component of the Federal Register publication system. The CFR organizes the rules of the various Federal agencies into 50 titles according to subject matter. Titles are divided into chapters, chapters into parts, and parts into sections. The Office of the Federal Register assigns each Federal Agency the title, chapter, and parts in which to publish its rules. MSHA rules are in Title 30 of the CFR (30 CFR), Mineral Resources.
