How to work with the files .TXT and .ZIP in Excel:
- Right click dataset and "save target as…" on your computer
- For the Data Files (.ZIP) Only: Open zip file and extract .txt file to your computer
- Open Excel
- Click "From Text" under the "Data" tab
- Select the .txt file and click "Import"
- Choose "Delimited" and "Next"
- Unclick "Tab" and click "Other": and type | in box
- Choose "Next" and "Finish"
- Choose "Existing" or "New" worksheet and assign a name
- Click "OK"
Please note that the updates are a complete replacement of the current files. In order to prevent duplicate records, you will need to overwrite previous versions of your data sets.
